Dodged The Weather -- So Far

First it was amazingly cold for this time of year; now it's been raining pretty steadily for twenty-four hours.  Luckily for us, the temperature went way up first.

It's in the mid-50s now.  If it was still so cold, we'd have had a healthy snow.  Right at freezing, it is likely we would have had an ice storm.  It's the right time of the year for them.  I don't much care for snow and heavy snowfall is a problem; I'm not a fan of heavy, days-long rain.  But ice?  It's a nightmare.  A disaster.  I'm happy we missed it this time -- but it's not over yet.

In central Illinois it was 53 when I came to work at 5am. Now at 9am it's 35! At least the rain is over. It'll be in your neighborhood soon.

Yep, the cold is coming back... Hopefully AFTER the rain departs!

The important question, of course, is, will the meteorological-type storm be bad enough to prevent the, um, "stuff"storm to the southwest of you moving your way?

I was nervous at the first announced time, as that would have been shortly before Mrs. Drang left work, and the nice, peace-loving folks planning Seattle's demonstrations" have as their symbol a black flag with red star and AK47...

A right delayed may be a right denied, but a verdict announcement delayed seems to have deterred a lot of shenanigans...

The weather has been playing tennis with my head and migraines for weeks now. I need it to get one way and stay that way for a while.
