At Last, The Back Yard!

Tam and I have...mostly ignored the back yard since Spring 2020.  --Other than this year's tomato patch, for which I have hopes.

Today, we started doing something about it and made a lot of progress before knocking off to grill steaks, foil-wrapped corn on the cob and a little pot of Brussels sprouts.  It all came out well, and with few dishes.

A fine Indiana lady-you know her well-taught me about corn.

Just soak in water for an hour, then onto the BBQ.

Nutty flavour...

Then you just peel it back from the end, and all the silk comes off off too.

Wise and experienced lady.

I spent a good amount of time in the backyard the past 2 days myself. In my case I now have a new hexbeam antenna (that took up a good portion of aforesaid back yard when first assembled) up on my tower. First contact was Lebanon on 20M (#94 towards DXCC).
