Holy Cow

...And I'm not talkin' about the slice of salami that graced today's breakfast, either: I feel amazingly better this morning!

My illness must have come on so slowly I failed to realize how bad it had become; I've been struggling awake in the morning, dull, groggy and hurting, then stumbling through each day. Still have a little backache but good heavens, what an improvement.

Maybe I'm not so terribly old after all!

Hurrah!

(And if you can, take it easy today. You'll most likely find that you feel *even better* tomorrow morning.)

Next time don't wait so long.
I worry for those I've grown fond of!

Antibiotics are wunnerful, aren't they?

I'm sure I'm off track here, but do contrive to check your blood sugar. Feeling like a stunned ox in the morning when you wake up is a noteworthy indicator that your blood sugar might be out of whack.

But given that you seem to be past that problem, I'm probably being too cautious.

Antibiotics, my rear end. I know what I'm doing next time I get sick: running the snow thrower. And I don't care if it's 90 degrees in July.
