It Takes A Geek

...To get this punchline.

In other news -- I'm still running a temperature, coughing, achy, etc. Liquids, rest and the tincture of time. Also cough syrup. And black tea with honey.

Time to wrap up in a blanket with a good book and a quart of whiskey sours.

Its either Ebola or Hansen's disease

Or Hansen's Ebola?

Or a miserable-a$$ cold.

Looks like amateur radio fax/TV...

You need a liberal application of bourbon to go with the cough syrup and other meds.

Won't make it any feel any better, but it will make it feel less. Or make you sleep, which is just as good.

Helps with the achey muscles too.

Dr. B said so. I'll write you a prescription tomorrow.

Just don't drive, or operate anything that is more dangerous than a spoon.

A couple of hot toddies would help.

To me it speaks to indeterminacy of meaning.

Here's one: Einstein and Heisenberg go on a road trip...

Or do they?

Thank you Ritchie - I now have a headache!

Thought I was a geek, but don't get the punchline.

It's more of a "resolution" than a punchline. Look at the other cartoons and you'll get it.

I thought that the answer was pretty black and white, but I dithered on making that point.

Alcohol actually IS a cough suppressant. The ingredients of a classic hot toddy are suppressant and expectorant in one.

Leaves one a fair bit less loopy than DXM, too, though I still wouldn't knock one back before work...
