There are supposedly three. Perhaps only the one has been filed so far.
You may see several bills on the subject, differing only a little. Having gone beyond us irrational crypto-killers and attracted a wider audience, the issue is an election year attention getter.
If restricting CCW has real political traction, the bills will be combined and bear the names of all lawmakers who think it is an election plus. This gives each cover to claim the final result as "his."
Gee, the Star was such a good paper when I was kicking around Pennsylvania Avenue.
