It's all good clean fun until someone loses their mind...

(Sounds like the teaser for a new Loftcraftian movie...)

It's such an engaging universe Ms. Ecks. It really is. I know you're two blocked on it but every little bit is so good.

I can easily imagine you as 'guest of non-honor' at Captain's Mast for something like that...

*snicker*

Any chance the Retrotechnologist will have anything new, like, I don't know, updates on that 20W AM X-mitter?

Hmmm?

Maybe. My ham antenna is broken -- the "linedragon" transmission-line support has failed and I can't find the sheet of Garolite I had saved to fix it with.

My birthday is in May and I deal with pretty serious depression about it. Plus one or the other of my blood pressure meds -- or something else -- has me zombiefied and very low on energy. I get home, eat, stare at the tube, go to bed, get up, eat, post something, shower, work, get home, etc. etc. etc. That story is months old; they don't go up on the blog until I'm sure they can't go anywhere else.

Yup, I don't do that 'happy b-day' crap, either.

When that wish is jammed in my face I usually respond - nothing happy about it.

When I was without auto transport for a number of months, I got back bike riding again.

It sucked at first, but then I realized something strange. As I got used to 20 miles a day, my persistent depression had mostly evaporated.

Now even though I don't need to, I still ride. I'm a bit fearful if I stop, the fog will return...

Nice. I had been jonseing for a new chapter.

Understand the time delay. I've been working on a novel. I'm not suffering from Writer's Block, but from Give a Shit Block.

A reminder that cutting-edge technology can still have dark corners.

The story telling is much more effective this way, the set things nicely.

Your muse may be sleeping, but she is definitely not dead.

Good story. Sorry I took so long to get to it.
