SB292 means Tam won't demur when asked to bike-ride on the Monon. (Not taking the trail means missing out on a bridge across busy Kessler Ave.; which meant the no-guns-in-parks ordinance replaced an imaginary risk with a very real one).

Alaska's Constitutional-carry and preemption law was passed as an amendment to the State constitution - and I'm thinking that was a good thing. Now that that particular genie's out of the bottle, it's nigh impossible to put it back. Guns in Alaska are like drugs in California - everybody's got some.
Next, we need to strengthen the preemption law to get rid of the idiotic schools and college campuses exception.
