"I keep buyin' 'em goats and buyin' 'em goats, and they just keep-- I don't know. I don't want to know."
Grimm fairy-tale sentiment -- or the modern voter, grimly approaching the ballot box/tax time?

And there I thought you were posting a post about the Fremont district of Seattle.

Fremont being the self-proclaimed center of the universe, it is known for, um, quirky stuff. Like a drawbridge, the tower of which a neon Rapunzel lets down her hair. Or a commie-surplus statue of Lenin. Or several micro-brews, a micro-distillery or two, and at least one micro-chocolatier.
Imagine my disappointment on learning that the "EMP Museum" in Seattle doesn't have anything to do with an electromagnetic pulse.
Ummmm, I'll see your Fremont District and Neon Rapunzel, and raise you Venice, CA. If you ask them, the residents of Venice are at the center of the universe. And THEY'VE got the giant statue of the hobo clown ballerina bolted to the side of a building on Main Street!
