Dear Representative Witling

Received a glossy self-promotional flyer from my Fed'ral un-Representative Friday. Hey, he did ask.

I followed Tam's link. Saw this.....

Shot Mountain Dew out my nose.

Thanks for the laugh.

I laughed until I cried. I'm still imagining some staffer opening that up, laughing, and taking it home to hang on their fridge so that they can make it through another day.

Terse and to the point.

Not that the elected Abderite, or impos animi if you prefer, is capable of comprehending the point, but that is beside the point.

It is regrettable the really appropriate term for members of Congress has been coopted by Rahm Emanuel, and is therefore proscribed to those of a less extreme bent.

I didn't get one... now I feel all left out!

(Probably can't figure out that I'm in his district.)

I'd have gone with more multi-syllable profanity.

I laughed until I nearly peed myself when I first saw that postcard sitting on the kitchen counter.

Nearly a week later, I laugh 'til I nearly pee myself every time I see that picture...

Thanks!!

But just calling my State Rep an idiot does not quite cover it....

I've done similar with party mailings and surveys. Yours is more concise though :).

Perfect.

I have done that! I also take perverse pleasure in mailing back (without filling out) all the little postage paid cards that fall out of my magazines.

I found my way here via Cranky Prof's link.

Excellent! I will definitely be doing this should the opportunity arise.

I have a pile of business envelope sized pieces of 10 ga. Steel plate from an abandoned project. One of those and all the bits of paper that came with it goes into the postage paid envelope from the morons at the RNC. I'll bet that costs a few cents considering I'm in Seattle and the RNC offices are in deecee.
