...So. Comedy Central is said to have truckled to religious bigots, and yanked an episode of South Park that included an "image" of Mohammed -- that'd be the Mohammed -- in a bear suit.
Not everyone is so willing to be cowed; Citizens Against Citizens Against Humor (it's pronounced "ca-ca") has proclaimed 20th May as Everybody Draw Mohammed Day! Read all about it here. I was led there by The Unwanted Blog.
Whaddaya think, a pug in a keffiyeh? Eatin' a pork chop left-handed? Yeah, that's about right.

I was think more along the lines of Porky Pig wearing a "suicide vest" with the caption "That's all Folks!" Unfortunately, while I'm a fair draftsman I'm a lousy cartoonist.
Roberta,
I read about this yesterday and thought to myself, "What a spendid idea!" Although my artistic talent runs mostly to stick figures, I'm going to have to take part in this.
On a completely unrelated note, I spent the day at the Tulsa Air Show which was set for the debut of the "Rocket Racing League", too cool! I remembered your posting about it in the past and the mention of needing a T-shirt. Your wish was my command. Email me at bmontie@gmail.com with mailing instructions.
I shall! Wooooo! Thank you. How'd the rocket racers look?
"...a pug in a keffiyeh? Eatin' a pork chop left-handed?"
With a beer in the right paw, maybe?
Roberta,
Too cool! I already gave a rundown to you by email, but for your readers, I will say that it is a very intersting concept. The ships (they don't like to call the planes)are very small and light. The engine is quite compact, but gets them off the ground in a hurry! They only have two minutes of fuel so they alternate between full burn and gliding as the engines cannot be throttled back, so when they land it is like watching the shuttle come in.
The "track" is projected in the visor of each pilot so they are running a "virtual track" in the sky. The pilot's view of the "track" was shown to the crowd on jumbotrons at the show. The pilot steers his ship through a series of colored rectangles that extend in the sky in front of his ship. the computer which generates the course can detect if you veer outside the virtual marker and penalizes you for it.
I'll also say that under boost the little ships are quite loud and have a huge exhaust flame (each one is differently colored so you can track which ship is which by their exhaust plume).
Since the ships are identical, it comes down to who is the best pilot and can make best use of glide energy to win the "race".
Comedy Central has completely caved. They've even pulled the South Park episode with the "Super Best Friends" from the stream on their website.
My drawing talents are not much, but I'll give it a shot. If I can't come up with something, I'll use one of the originals on my site that day.
Is that "the Mohammed" of the Medina Mohammeds?
Y'know, I think so. Weren't they at the camel races last Friday? Polite young gentleman in the explosive vest?
I'd like to see something along the lines of depicting Mohammed as one of the People of Wal-Mar.
