Excellent essay by Cathy Young, who also wrote one of my favorite defenses of gun ownership: "When Liberals Lie About Guns".
What she says is true. The Tea Party is made up of ordinary Americans who are fed up with government running over them. They are not pro-Republican and they certainly are not pro-Democrat. They want a change in government for the better, not just "change" like Zero gave us, change toward disaster.
I have attended several Tea Parties and I have observed them all to be very well organized, well behaved, reasonable, civil events that I could support without reservation.
