What?!? You mean I'm not supposed to do all my tricks to try and draw you out of your shell? Or push you uncomfortably to the center of attention? Maybe if I just talk faster and use bigger hand motions.

Joking aside, I appreciate things like this. It's easy for an extrovert to forget that we run on different fuels.

It can be very confusing to extroverts that sometimes, when we're full of energy, we can be the life of the party and the center of attention, and enjoy it. Its just that instead of gaining energy, we're expending it. It's rather like running a marathon.

It's just like getting to know a new cat. You wait for them to come to you. I think that's why many introverts are cat companions.
