10. No matter how loudly Rannie yowls, it's okay to keep chasing her; she knows you're playing.

13. "On top of" is a status reserved for cats. Things which are not cats, but found on top of something, will be batted, nudged, or frankly pushed until they are on the floor.
Well, at least he's not sitting by the bed at 6:30AM miaowing like some cats I know.
Oh. He is? Sorry.
No, by 6:30, he's been fed and has moved on to other pursuits -- watching out the window or chasing Rannie, most often.
14. "In the morning while Mommy's getting ready and has to be out the door in 20 minutes" is the best time to demand petting and affection. "In the evening when Mommy sits down and has nothing else to do" is the worst.
