Ego vadum perussi vestri prandium
"I saw to what extent the people among whom I lived could be trusted as good neighbors and friends; that their friendship was for summer weather only; that they did not greatly propose to do right; that they were a distinct race from me by their prejudices and superstitions."
Henry David Thoreau

I checked out Retrotechnologist. You have more Yankhees than me. I'm jealous.
Heh heh heh. ;D
Well colour I impressed.
I spy a teeny red anvil.
For shoe-ing your cats?
all you need is a..
RCA voltohmist VTVM,
HP audio generator
Lafeyette general purpose signal generator
RCA WO33 o'scope
Having the Simpson, Triplet means you should also have the AVOmeter All three are great tools.
PS: it's impossible to post comments to Retotechnologist, just doesn't work.
Turk: good for setting rivets and eyelets. More of a leatherworking tool, really.
Eck: H'mm, worked for me.
I had a Voltohmyst -- very drifty. H/P's VTVM set (410? and 400C or D for AC) is nicer; I don't know where mine have got to. The audio gen is first-rate; somewhere I have a 650A (gen) and a 330B (THD meter, audio level meter); you'd think they would be difficult to misplace but I have done so.
