Went shooting handguns with my wife and another couple. That lady had wanted to learn for some time. She had a blast, as did the rest of us. One more woman brought over to shooting side.
Afterwards, we went to lunch at a friend's restaurant. A twenty-something waitress, when she found where we'd been, asked if I could take her shooting next time. She seemed inspired by my wife's target. Another one interested in our side.
The guys working at my local range have been commenting that I'm bringing a lot of beginning women shooting, who seem to end up really liking this sport. As one said, after just a few shots with my Sig P-226 "Oh, THIS is going to be addicting!!!"
And they're buying their own guns, after several weeks of shooting mine. Now we're getting together to shoot about every two weeks for them, and about twice a week for me.
All-in-all, it's been time, and ammunition, well spent.
Let's see, I have ridden, paid bills, done laundry, attempted to reinstall quarter-round, paid more bills but not all of them and enjoyed a really thick migraine.
Getting the work done this week, so I can be a vendor at the 1500 nest Fri, Sat , and Sunday....Gonna be a long weekend, so I gotta get things done this weekend.
Look me up at the 3 Part Supply booth and I'll give you a free sample of Strike-Hold.
I did something: Entered the Gun Blogger Rendezvous schedule to my Outlook calender, and then went to work. Mrs. Drang stayed home and cleaned up. Recycled enough paper to keep Weyerhauser in business for a month without killing any trees.
Woke up in Fort Wayne. This is not as bad as it sounds, since I woke up there with my wife. Still, it was Fort Wayne.
Had lunch with my "niece's" family. Suffered headache from whining from niece's father and uncle (who are twins BTW, so it's like listening to stereo). Drove home from Fort Wayne wishing I could have burned powder at whiners.
All in all, you guys sound like you had MUCH better Sundays.

Went to breakfast, burned some powder, went to the gun store, went to lunch, came home, read, napped.

Climbed Mt. St. Helens on Thursday, rested Friday, started a batch of pear cider on Saturday, and rafted the White Salmon river on Sunday.
Various and sundry chores in between.
