...In which purple-shirted thugs beat up protesters while claiming said protesters are "attacking America."
H'mmm, isn't this exactly the scenario the Left is forever accusing the Right of creating, in which dire thugs supporting an over-reaching President are whoppin' on innocent protesters? So how is it that the thugs in matching outfits are supporters of the Democrat administration (especially of its most wrong-headed policy so far) and the protestors are a mix of Republican, Libertarian and Independent "Tea Party" folks?
Golly gee. Why' it's almost like those high-sounding words about "Dissent is the highest form oof patriotim" and the importance of dissent to a free society that the sooooo-American Left spent the last eight years repeating were nothing more than partisan noise.
Who would'a thunk?
I wonder when and where the next Waco will happen.

I am unable to escape the conclusion that the so-called social contract is an utter shuck and always has been, as far as the individual is concerned.
Under the social contract, what are the individual's obligations to society?
Whatever society says they are.

Speaking for society is nice work if you can get it. For everyone else, it's all "I have altered the deal; pray I don't alter it any further," all the time.
Violence against people exercising their right to petition for redress of grievances is a friggen recipe for disaster. Do these idiots want to back people into a corner?
Sooner or later, it's going to be blood if things keep going this way, and no one in their right mind wants that Pandora's box opened.
This is very disconcerting, it seems as though the country becomes more polarized and divided as the days go on.
It is only a matter of time before a person or people are killed. Then, both sides of the debate will have all the excuse they need to escalate.
We live in interesting times.
Who knew that the American SS would wear purple?
Shootin' Buddy
I think I'd feel pretty bad if I got smacked down by sumdood wearing a purple shirt. At least wear black and try to look a little menacing, please.

I don't think it will be a Waco; it'll be more of a Kent State. But unfortunately I don't think CSN&Y will champion the cause and write another song about it. And there's the irony.
Dale Carnegie became a multi-millionaire teaching people just one trick. Always get the other fellow to say yes - before you say something offensive or threatening.
Obama has it back assward. He's offending and threatening people before he gets them saying yes.
So the only people he impresses are the brain dead left. Including the state controlled media and the Barack Channels.
That being the case, there will be grassroots protests. Specious claims that protests were organized from outside merely make the situation worse.
And when "fearless leader" tells his remaining loyalists things like "Get in their faces," and "If they bring a knife we bring a gun" he's setting himself up for an even more precipitous fall.
Congress is in recess, and Obama's popularity may break even while Congress is out. But given the economic and unemployment situations - that could change with a word. And Obama is notorious for less than judicious speech.
