One of my favorite episodes of "World's Toughest Fixes" is the one where they replace a broadcast antenna on top of a 2000' tower. That was a wild ride.
Nathan, that tower is "a little off the top:" in order to fit the site, it is actually the top half of a tower about twice as tall; the stock version was a funny-looking thing that would not have looked right even if it did fit.
Windload on that tower is very minor; for esthetic reasons, it is much stronger than it has to be. But it's not my tower, so I can't put a ham antenna on it -- it's in "intermod alley," anyway.

Nothing like a good up-skirt tower photo!
I get one of every tower I visit.
That tower looks Jewish.
Did it have a little taken off the top? :)
Nice tower. It needs a 2L 80 Meter beam on top.

Is that a older tower? As I do not see the newer type of fall restraint cable running in the center of the ladder.

What kind of wind load does that tower carry?
